3M™ Thermal Transfer Polyester Label Material 7872 is a gloss polyester label material that offers premium durability and moisture resistance. This label product utilizes 3M™ High Performance Acrylic Adhesive 350, it offers excellent chemical resistance and holding strength even at high temperatures.
The facestock is topcoated for thermal transfer printing. Resin ribbons are recommended for optimum durability. The topcoat also provides improved ink anchorage for traditional forms of press printing. The Polyester facestock provides durability in harsh environments. The 350 is 3M’s most universal labelstock adhesive and offers excellent adhesion, even on low surface energy substrates, combined with excellent temperature and chemical resistance. The 46 micron adhesive coat weight gives excellent adhesion to textured surfaces. The densified glassine liner allows for consistent die cutting. It is UL and cUL recognized (File Number MH18072).
